I bought the "Best Commuter Mug" from Hammacher Schlemmer, loved it but dropped it and the top broke. It was discontinued :( so I went looking. I bought the JoeMo as a replacement, and it is the same as the Hammacher Schlemmer one but smaller - quite small, in fact. Then I bought this one. I LOVE IT! It's a pleasure to drink from, keeps the coffee hot and I don't have to fiddle with the second lid. I can't believe that anyone wouldn't like this mug. No, I didn't notice any plastic taste or smell at all. I think this mug is just about perfect. Last night my husband took some coffee out to a fellow working in the snow - he took him MY MUG and the guy (probably unintentionally) took off with it. So here I am buying another one. Coffee just isn't the same without it!

It is an amazing mug as it doesn't spill when closed & it keeps coffee hot for a very long time.

This travel mug truly lived up to my expectations. It really does keep things hot and cold for at least 8 hours. I even found it to keep ice for 12 hours. Also, the mug is Very easy to drink out of and it DOES NOT SPILL. If the button is closed you can turn it upside down and nothing comes out. Then turn it over, click the button and drink from any side. It is also very easy to clean.

This is the best travel coffee mug I've owned/ used.

Yeah.. the price is a bit.. well, pricey, however the quality is very good. I love this mug! It fits about a medium coffee in it. Yes it definately keeps it hot, but you can cool it down a bit quicker by clicking on the opening on the top. And yes.. the top is one of the things that makes this a great mug. When it's closed, it's water tight, when it's open, it works just like a regular cup.. not like a regular tumbler where you flip the cap and sip through a little hole in the mug. I love that! The only downer is cleaning it. It doesn't accumulate coffee chum like some of the slider lids I have had.. but it is a bit tedious to get everything clean on it. Still worth the buy.
